Hamster Videos

I let my hamster run around the house every now and then. Today I decided to make some videos of her adventures.

Odd Job - Sundance Homes

Out of the blue, yesterday, Ivan calls me up and asks if I'm free the next day. He goes on to explain that Doris is looking for someone to fill a position for her. With questions being raised, Ivan tells me that she works at Swiss Chalet. I instantly think it's a waitering position and doubt the opportunity as this requires training and experience. We concluded that he can pass my number on to Doris but I will only help her fill the position if I am needed as a last resort.

Within minutes the phone rings again with Doris on the other end. She explains that Ivan was confused and that she works for management for real estate. The position being offered is to show people around a model house. She assures me that the position is exceptionally simple and anyone can do it. After the clarification and having all my questions answered, I accept the position and look forward to the new experience.

Today, I arrived at Tideswell Sundance Homes and am given a tour of the house I worked in. I surprised myself with how quickly I can learn: the house is 1533 square feet, there's a 142 bonus square feet included into the 1533 for the family room, the backyard is 20 feet, the house sells for $279,990, other homes had a modified layout, and many other facts that were easy to learn by associating details with the object in question.

So after working for 3.5 hours, I sold 4 homes at 6% commission. I made $67197.60 ($279,990 * 0.06 * 4 = $67197.6), enough to get me through college... OK, so I made that paragraph up but it would have been nice if it really happened.

So I worked 3.5 hours and had a great time giving tours of the home. On top of that, there was great food and the experienced opened up some doors for the future.

The following are some pictures and video of the home I worked in.

This is the video tour starting from the basement's main entrance and ending in the master bedroom, 2 floors above.
