One of my hamsters gave birth to 6 babies tonight. However, 2 of them were probably still births. Atleast from what I see, 2 don't move nor squeak at all and they look pale compared to the living babies. This probably happened because the mother has wet tail prior to giving birth. I'm not sure the exact reason for this but it's my best guess.
Today is my birthday. The family; Mom, Dad, Peter and I went to have Pho for lunch then watched Mission Impossible III after. My presents included $100 dollars from the parents and an early present of babies from the hammies.
Red Hammy gave birth to 4 babies a few hours ago. It is possible that 2 of them are still births, lowering the birth count to 2.
Today, my baby hamsters opened their eyes for the first time. Now, they also nibble on real food and poop like other hamsters do.
